WYHIT: New Program to Offer IT Services
The Wyoming Health Information Organization and Istonish, Inc. have partnered to address the need for ongoing IT support services to Wyoming's medical community through the formation of the Wyoming Health Information Technology services program – WYHIT. The WYHIT supports a network of information technology services to healthcare providers and other entities in Wyoming.
What is the WyHIO?
Spun off from the Health Information Technology Study overseen by the Wyoming Healthcare Commission, the WyHIO is the state’s Regional Health Information Organization devoted to the creation of a Health Information Exchange (HIE) network. The independent, not for profit WyHIO collaborates among its members to promote information technology deployment in healthcare.Board members represent multiple stakeholders in Wyoming.
